BLACKBERRY CRICKET SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

I have received lately a number of inquiries from people on how to setup their flashed blackberry to the Cricket network. It would appear that people are flashing them, but not providing how to get them setup on the Cricket network. For those of you who are in the predicement. Please follow the instructions below. Please be aware, if you try these instructions and your blackberry has not been flashed (special software installed on the handset), it will not work.

INSTRUCTIONS:

To enter the programming mode, key in the symbols “##” followed by 000000.
Press the side button or enter.

The “CDMA Service Edit Screen” appears.

1. In the "Mobile Directory Number:" field, enter your 10 digit cricket telephone number.

2. In the "IMSI_S:" field, enter your 10 digit MIN number assigned to your unit at the time of activation. If you do not know this number, you can call Cricket customer service and request it.

If you are subscribing to internet, you will need to change the following fields too:

3. In the "SIP User ID:" field, enter your 10digitcricketnumber@mycricket.com.

Example: Your cricket cell number is 555-123-5678. You would enter 5551235678@mycricket.com

4. In the "SIP Password" field, enter "cricket" without the ".

5. In the "MIP User ID:" field, enter your 10digitcricketnumber@mycricket.com.

Example: Your cricket cell number is 555-123-5678. You would enter 5551235678@mycricket.com

6. Depress the track wheel or ball to view the menu in the top right corner.

7. Select "Save"

8. "Write Successful" will be displayed.


After manually programming and saving, I would recommend having the cricket store refresh their account.
